Description
The TwinStar ND will inspire you!
Multiplex has given their popular TwinStar a complete look and given a new coat of paint. The elegant design of Aircraftstudiodesign® underlines the timeless lines of this beautiful model. Enjoy the power and the sound of two powerful engines on deep fly-bys. A fascinating experience!
It gives beginners a quick sense of achievement with its extremely good-natured flight characteristics. As an aerobatic trainer, the very agile TwinStar ND is convincing in: rolls, loops, stunts and precise target landings. Thanks to its favorable design, the TwinStar ND is ideally suited as a camera carrier and as an FPV model. With its wingspan of 1,420 mm, the model offers ideal transport options thanks to its quickly divisible wings so it fits in every trunk.
The model made in Germany is typically MULTIPLEX made of ELAPOR® - a special foam material of premium quality. With the 3-S drive in the RR version, the TwinStar BL climbs steeply and is safely steered into its path thanks to the standard MULTIPLEX servos.
Experience pure summer feeling with the optional float kit (# 733061).
Warning: The receiver used with this airplane must be compatible with 50hz analog servos. Using a receiver intended for digital servo frame rate will ruin the included servos.

I have prob 60 hours of flight time on this model and am enjoying it much. Ample power and forgiving flight characteristics make this one stand out. Inverted piece of cake, roll rate pretty tame but she does roll just fine and I hadnt the need to put that much strain on the airframe. I love to put this a few hundred feet up and slow her down to 20 percent throttle. The motors sound very nice, tho I get an odd vibration at certain rpms. Replaced props, no change. This is such a classic aircraft and its very confident in the air, for sure. the decals are sharp and the foam is very substantial, Shes got some heft in the air but that helps keep her on track. Im sure this would be a good candidate for FPV. I like how accessible the motors, escs are, some of these twins bury these components in cowls twinstar dont need any of that.
